Well, hello. Been a minute since we talked. I have to say I have missed playing out and seeing you all. Been producing a record and writing the next Theft record over the last year and a half or so. Haven’t played a show in a long time and I feel like playing out. The lovely people over at The Hotel Cafe have agreed to let me swing through next month and so I’m getting some friends together and we’re gonna play some music. Hoping to be in pre-production for the record this summer and recording in the fall, so I’m not sure when the next show will be. So, come a little early, grab a bite and be sure to print the above flyer to get a FREE Theft t-shirt on the night of the show. Hope you are well and I look forward to seeing some of you on June 15.

With our debut album, The Hard Way, out a couple of weeks ago, and another album out in the next month, we thought it fitting to have a little get together and celebrate. So…we’re having a little album(s) release party Sunday, October 23, at the Bootleg Theatre in Los Angeles. Details are on the flyer above and on our Facebook page, where you can RSVP for the event. We’re giving away free music and we want to buy you your first drink, just to say thanks for coming out. We look forward to sharing music from both our new albums with you on this very special night. Next Wednesday 09.28.11 Theft makes their debut at Eastside LA’s, Satellite. Come hang out and hear a couple of new tunes before we head out on the road. We go on at 9pm and are supporting Rusty Anderson from Paul McCartney’s band. See ya soon. -t

while we work to properly release 2 full length records this fall, the songwriting for the next album is underway. everyone is coming to the table with amazing stuff but the lyrics are on me to work out. this is what the process usually looks like at 1 in the am. working on a new track called “waiting to be weightless” and every word matters. i am officially the cog in the wheel. ha!
